Description:
This is an augmented reality game project where players take on the role of helping a faction called the Outsiders in taking the fight against another faction called the Establishment. The live event happened on May 31st, 2018.

Essence Statement:
We wanted players to learn something while they play this ARG and that is to learn about the importance of the environment and how corporations are neglecting and destroying them for their own profit. We also wanted players to have fun, feel excited, feel like they are making a difference while playing this game.

Reflection:
The ARG went really well and was met with positive reception from everyone who was played and supported it. I feel like if we got to choose what kind of social issue we want to address besides climate change, we could have made added in more gameplay elements.

UPROAR
An augmented reality game project
These are videos that I helped produced with classmates in my IMDÂ class. I did most of the shooting while my classmates did most of the editing. These videos are promos for our alternate reality game called Uproar.
UPLIFT THE UPROAR - TRAILER
This is a pre-game trailer for our ARG. I shot some of the footage and was an actor for some of the scenes.
UPLIFT THE UPROAR - PROTEST
This is a pre-game video showcasing the first step the players will do at the start of our game. I did the filming while my team did the editing.
UPLIFT THE UPROAR - ESPIONAGE
This is the next step players partake in the game. Players will infiltrate an office and copy documents in order to expose the corporation's harmful actions against the environment, and retrieve the stolen seeds. The players will have to avoid myself and another classmate, acting as guards.
UPLIFT THE UPROAR - PLANTING
The final step in the ARG where players will plant seeds in order to help save the environment. I did some of shooting but had to be reshot by another classmate.
